High efficiency and minimal downtime

The machining plant was relocated in February 2011 to the area of the old renovated foundry hall, and then in May 2017, it moved to its final location in the Ipartelepi street factory building, which was a significant milestone in the company's history. The placement of equipment at this site is done according to the most optimal process design, providing a modern, spacious working environment for our employees. Through continuous optimizations, we are able to improve and develop our efficiency and quality.

The machining plant currently has a total of 33 CNC machines, including 20 vertical and 3 horizontal machining centers, as well as 10 lathes. Our selected machines are characterized by high efficiency and minimal downtime. We equip the machines with unique polycrystalline diamond and carbide tools from long-standing partners, ensuring that we meet the demands of our customers completely. The fixtures and tools for the machines are designed and manufactured mostly in-house, which allows for their further development and optimization and enables us to solve production issues and part replacements 'in-house' within minimal time.

About the process

  • The main activity of the area is the pressure testing and washing of products coming from the surface finishing and machining areas
  • With pressure testing, we ensure the customer that our products do not leak
  • We have equipment that checks products based on multiple criteria and also labels them with a unique identifier, which is known as the DMC code
  • Currently, we have a total of 16 pressure testing and inspection machines in the area
  • There are also 5 washing machines, which are intended to meet the customer’s cleanliness requirements
  • At the end of the washing process, there is a final product inspection to ensure that the customer receives only products of impeccable quality
  • Among the pressure testing machines, there are 3 fully automatic ones. The operator visually inspects the pieces, places them on the feeder, the machine takes the product, checks it, performs a pressure test, engraves the DMC code and reads it back. If the product meets all points, it is placed in the designated storage. The operator straps the products and places them in boxes
